Two well-known brands —Portland-based Maine Beer Co. and Brunswick-based coffee roaster Wicked Joe — are looking to expand to Freeport.
The Tri-Town Weekly reported that both businesses have received building permits for new locations in town.
At the same time, Freeport-based Maine Distillers, which makes Cold River Vodka and other spirits, has received approval to add more than 1,300 square feet to its 437 U.S. Route 1 location.
