American Ambulance Service-New England plans to open an office in Kittery after inking multi-year, 9-1-1 service contracts with that town and the town of Eliot.
The company, which opened an office in the New Hampshire city of Somersworth three months ago, plans to double its staff in the Seacoast region. The company will add to its current staff of 30 in Somersworth and hire for the Kittery location.
The company, based in Miami and owned by the Scandinavian company Falck, has its New England headquarters in Hyde Park, Mass.
