The Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments has received $70,000 in grant funding through the Economic Development Administration’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy program.
The award will establish an economic development framework to support private capital investment and job creation in Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties.

The EDA is a bureau within the U.S. Department of Commerce. Its CEDS process is designed to bring together the public and private sectors in the creation of an economic development roadmap to support the regional economy.
