Bangor’s downtown district will be opening its first brewery early this fall, as couple Cory and Nok-Noi Ricker have announced plans for a new microbrewery, 2 Feet Brewing, to open at 80 Columbia St.
In addition to serving brews made using a small-scale brewing technique consisting of a two-barrel system with three two-barrel fermenters in the building’s basement, the Rickers told the Bangor Daily News that 2 Feet Brewing will also serve a small menu of food options, and beer lovers will be able to purchase growlers on site.
“We hope to quickly expand that, because it’s going to be difficult to operate long term with that kind of capacity,” Cory Ricker told the BDN.
