Avesta Housing, a Portland-based nonprofit developer and operator of affordable housing, is adding two members to its executive leadership team.
Anthony Ronzio will serve as vice president of strategic partnerships, while Jonathan Greven has been named vice president of finance and business strategy.
“These leadership roles strengthen our team and demonstrate our commitment to thoughtful growth, strong partnerships and long-term sustainability to advance our mission of creating safe, affordable homes and stronger communities,” said Jennifer Hawkins, the organization’s president and CEO.
As vice president of strategic partnerships, Ronzio will lead Avesta’s fundraising, marketing and communications, public affairs, advocacy, stakeholder engagement and other external relationships.
Ronzio has held leadership roles in Maine state government, higher education and journalism, most recently directing communications for Gov. Janet Mills. Ronzio also previously held leadership positions at Colby College in Waterville and has significant experience advancing public policy initiatives, including work related to affordable housing.
Greven most recently served as senior vice president of finance and administration and chief business and finance officer at St. Joseph’s College of Maine in Standish.
In his new role, Greven will help ensure Avesta’s operational and financial resources are aligned with organizational priorities, while supporting long-term planning and cross-functional collaboration.
Avesta Housing Development Corp. has an annual revenue of $10.7 million, while Avesta Housing Management Corp. has an annual revenue of $10.6 million, according to the 2026 Mainebiz Giving Guide.
