The Hollywood Slots Hotel and Raceway in Bangor grand opening was scheduled for today at 10 a.m.
The $132 million gaming and entertainment facility includes a four level-parking garage and a seven story hotel facing Penobscot River. The racino features 1,000 slot machines, and has a capacity of 3,114 people, according to the Bangor Daily News.
The interim Hollywood Slots facility a few blocks away opened in November 2005 to crowds stretching in lines around the block, the paper reported.
