The sale of the Bangor Daily News’ downtown Bangor headquarters has fallen through, the newspaper reported.
The paper reported last week that The Bangor Publishing Co., which owns the paper, had a deal in the works with a subsidiary of hotelier Ocean Properties Ltd.
Publisher Richard J. Warren said late Monday that the deal has fallen through and the company will continue seeking a buyer for the offices it opened at 491 Main St. in the early 1950s.
