Sixty employees of a Biddeford Olive Garden restaurant location were told Saturday morning that the eatery at 150 Shops Way was closing its doors indefinitely.
Hunter Robinson, a spokesman for Darden restaurants, owner of the Olive Garden restaurant chain, told WMTW TV-8 that workers of the Biddeford location were offered employment at nearby Olive Garden and Longhorn Steakhouse locations, which it also owns.
Robinson added that employees that didn’t wish to relocate were awarded severance packages, WMTW reported.
