Sanford-based Maine Manufacturing LLC has purchased a GE laboratory product line and the Westborough, Mass., factory where the products are made.
In a press release Tuesday, the company announced it has acquired GE’s laboratory filter and membrane lines, including the Cameo brand of syringe filters and transfer membranes used in RNA and DNA protein analysis.
Company President Bill Emheiser said in a prepared statement that the biotechnology manufacturer plans to expand its customer and applications support.
