The North Atlantic Blue Biotech Summit, to be held March 19 in Portland, will bring together biotech startups, policymakers, investors and innovators to help foster growth in the emerging sector.
Co-hosted by Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences and Hatch Blue, with support from the Maine Technology Institute, the event is designed to accelerate the translation of ocean research into commercial opportunities.
Panelists will include leading experts in venture capital, research, consulting and industry.

In addition to networking and discussions on emerging blue biotech applications, the event will feature curated company pitches from the Maine Blue Biotech Innovation Studio, being held this month at Bigelow Laboratory in East Boothbay.
