Boston-based construction management firm Corderman & Co. has expanded into Maine with an office in Portland, at 428 Fore St.
The new 1,500-square-foot space is staffed by four employees, and the company says it’s currently working on the historical restoration of a private residence in the city, while also exploring commercial opportunities for later this year and in the first quarter of 2027.
The Portland expansion “is an exciting new beginning for the organization,” founder founder, David Corderman said. “The Corderman team recognizes Portland’s vibrant history of urban development and its unique celebration of the city’s trade partners, and we are dedicated to honoring the city’s commitment to the fundamental principles of respect, kindness and an unrelenting professionalism.”
Its clients are in a range of fields, including academic and higher education, banking, building repositioning, corporate, financial, healthcare and sciences, hospitality, legal and retail.
The company has experience delivering LEED and WELL-certified projects. In-house support teams include Corderman carpentry, trucking and labor divisions.
