Starting this July, Breeze Airways will add flights from Portland International Jetport to Ohio, South Carolina and Georgia.
The carrier announced on Tuesday that it will add seasonal nonstop flights to Akron-Canton Airport, operating on Thursdays and Sundays, and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, operating on Mondays and Fridays.
In addition to the nonstop service, Breeze is adding two BreezeThru destinations offering one-stop, same-plane service to Savannah and Myrtle Beach. The Savannah service begins on July 1 and the Myrtle Beach service starts July 2.
Breeze will also expand its existing nonstop route to Columbus to four weekly flights.
“We are thrilled to see Breeze add service to Akron/Canton and Cincinnati,” said Paul Bradbury, Airport Director. “Breeze now flies to eleven non-stop destinations out of Portland, the most of any carrier at PWM. We thank Breeze for their continued investment in the Portland and Maine markets and look forward to welcoming more family and friends from the Midwest starting in July.”
Breeze Airways, founded in 2021 by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, operates more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes to 81 cities in the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.
