Jewett Construction, which is based in Raymond, N.H., and has a Scarborough office, has been busy in southern Maine.
The contractor tells Mainebiz it has recently completed a range of projects, from a restaurant fit-out to a car dealership to a car wash:
- Interior fit-up of the restaurant Ricetta’s, at 512 Main St. in Saco. The 7,245-square-foot restaurant, the former Kerryman’s Irish Pub, was thoroughly gutted to make way for a new architectural style. Exterior treatments included new cedar board and batten siding, a wooden trellis entry feature and accent lighting along pedestrian walkways. The new kitchen design creates space for two of Ricetta’s signature brick oven fixtures along with other modern equipment throughout.
- Renovation and an addition at the ScrubaDub car wash site, at 1185 Forest Ave. in Portland. Jewett did major site improvements, exterior renovations and the construction of a new retail addition to better serve ScrubaDub’s customers. The project focused on modernizing the existing facility with new metallic aluminum paneling, anodized storefront systems, and a curved roof frame sitting above the new retail spaces.
- A new showroom and updated look highlighted work on the Berlin City Lexus dealership, at 191 Riverside St. in Portland. Capozza Tile & Floor Covering Center handled the flooring. The renovation included additional space for vehicle deliveries.
