Outdoor retailer Cabela’s has begun hiring up to 250 employees at its new store in Scarborough, company officials said yesterday.
Cabela’s Inc., based in Sidney, Neb., expects to open the 125,000-square-foot store in May as part of the Gateway at Scarborough retail and office complex.
The hiring began last week and of those 250 jobs, 40% are expected to be full-time, Dan Whitcher, the store’s general manager, told Mainebiz this morning.
