The seven honorees on the 2021 Mainebiz Next List, from diverse industries, backgrounds and parts of the state, are doing more than changing Maine’s economy. They’re changing Maine.
The Mainebiz Next List, presented annually since 2013, was originally designed to highlight the people who were changing Maine’s economy and who were on the rise. Some of them were on the young side, but not all. It was more about the energy and vision a person was bringing to a project.
This year, Mainebiz presents seven leaders who are carving out new territory.
Like a lot of businesspeople in the past 18 months, they’ve had their ups and downs. But how they responded is also a big part of why they’re being honored.
The seven 2021 Nexters, from diverse industries, backgrounds and parts of the state, are doing more than changing Maine's economy. They're changing Maine.
