Favorite place outside of work: My garden. It’s great to be able to plant something, nurture it, watch it grow and (hopefully) yield an abundance of produce. Kind of like your business.

Leadership icon: I don’t have one particular leader I look up to. Rather, I take my inspiration from a number of successful business leaders I deal with on a regular basis. I analyze what makes them successful and try to incorporate that into my daily routine.

Maine’s biggest challenge: Its population. Will Maine be able to attract and retain younger workers with a good career potential to sustain our future economy?

Maine’s biggest opportunity: Its population. We need to encourage entrepreneurs and small business owners to create more jobs for Maine people, thus making Maine a better place to live.

Best business advice: Take your time when making a business decision. Weigh the pros and cons and how it will affect your business, your customers and your employees.
