The health care industry publication Becker’s Hospital Review has named David Frum, president of Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital, as one of its Top 50 Critical Access Hospital CEOs to Know in its nationwide list.
“I’m proud of the focus we have on quality patient care and safety — and, it is always nice to be recognized for that good work,” Frum said in a statement about his recognition. “The residents of western Maine are the true beneficiaries of our exceptional quality and service and I am truly honored to serve as CEO for these two hospitals.”
According to Central Maine Healthcare, Frum has over 25 years of experience in the health care industry and has held his post as head of the Bridgton and Rumford Hospitals for six years.
Before his stint in the Maine hospital system, Frum held numerous positions in health care providers across the country, including serving as CEO of the Charlestown, Ind.-based Saint Catherine Regional Medical Center, regional vice president at CHRISTUS Spohn Health System in Corpus Christi, Tex., and vice president at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Ga.
