Portland brokerage CORE expanded its footprint in the Northeast with the hiring of personnel from CRG Commercial, a Newton, Mass., brokerage operating in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Matt Javitch, co-founder and managing partner of CRG Commercial, joined CORE as a shareholder and executive vice president of growth. CORE also hired his team of two Massachusetts commercial brokers — Rich Perry and Mike Shaw.
CORE will be opening a new office in Massachusetts.
“This expansion strengthens our ability to connect opportunities across markets and deliver more value to our clients,” said Josh Soley, CORE’s president.
Javitch will recruit brokerage talent, with a goal to drive growth across the company’s service lines and the region. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. Before CRG Commercial, he had experience as an underwriter in commercial real estate lending with both Citizens Bank and First Republic.
The new hires bring increased brokerage activity in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and are also expected to grow CORE’s property management and acquisitions platforms.
CORE launched a new website to showcase its brokerage, acquisitions and management teams and portfolios in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
