Cumberland County FCU promotes CFO to top executive post

Cumberland County Federal Credit Union will have a new CEO, effective July 1.

Ryan Grund

Ryan Grund, who has been chief financial officer since 2013, will take over both the president and CEO roles.

Grund succeeds Scott Harriman, who will retire after 36 years at the institution. Grund’s appointment reflects the credit union’s commitment to continuity, member service and community stewardship, the credit union said.

A Certified Public Accountant, Grund joined the credit union after earning his master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. He has been the credit union’s CFO since 2013 and is credited with strengthening the financial foundation and supporting sustainable growth.

“I am grateful to the board for their trust and honored to lead the credit union into its next chapter,” said Grund. “From its beginnings on Harold Mason’s front porch in 1954 right here in Falmouth, CCFCU has remained deeply committed to its members and community. I look forward to continuing that legacy while supporting our members, employees and the communities we serve.”
