First National Lincoln Corp., in Damariscotta, yesterday said it would change its name to The First Bancorp Inc.
The company said the decision was made to align the company’s name with its operating subsidiary, The First N.A., a community bank with 14 branches in Lincoln, Knox, Hancock and Washington counties.
