A dentist is proposing to build a new mixed-use development in Bar Harbor that would include her dental office along with residential space.
The Mount Desert Islander reported that Dr. Mathilde Reznik, who is doing business as Bar Harbor Dental Group LLC, seeks to build two buildings — the first of which would be 1,600 square feet and contain the dental office, along with a second-floor residence. An adjacent building would house a garage workshop and a second-floor studio apartment.
The project, which calls for the razing of two single-family houses on the lot, is estimated to cost $1.6 million and will be reviewed by the city’s planning board on Wednesday.
