Developer Stuart Smith has proposed a $6.5 million, 65-room hotel project for Rockland’s downtown waterfront area.
The Bangor Daily News reported local officials will review plans Feb. 11 for the hotel that would be adjacent to the Boston Financial Data Services office complex, also owned by Smith’s firm. The hotel proposal has a footprint of 20,000 square feet and have four stories facing the water and three facing the street, the paper reported. The project also includes a restaurant for hotel guests.
