Developer John Cacoulidis has withdrawn his plans for a 10,000-seat waterfront concert venue in South Portland, which was set to go before the city’s planning officials this week.
The Forecaster reported Cacoulidis this week withdrew his application for permits needed to build the concert venue near the city’s Bug Light Park. Jon Jennings, South Portland’s assistant city manager, told the paper that he would speak with Cacoulidis this week to continue discussions about the plan he said could host events as early as June.
