Portland-based Diversified Communications has purchased a media and events company based in Singapore, making it the company’s fifth acquisition this year.
The Portland Press Herald reported that Diversified Communications announced its acquisition of HRM Asia last week, which will allow the Portland media and events company to open a division in Singapore and add new events to its portfolio. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
HRM Asia, which works on specialty publications, websites and events for the human resources industry, has 27 employees. They will join Diversified’s global workforce of 850 people, which includes 175 in Portland.
