Maurice “Moe” Dubé, director of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Maine district, retired yesterday after six years at the helm of the federal business assistance agency.
According to a press release, Marilyn Geroux, previously the deputy director for the SBA’s Maine district, will serve as the acting director pending a permanent hire.
Dubé, who lives in Lewiston, was named director of the SBA’s Maine office in 2007 and has worked in various capacities at the SBA since 1987, according to a biography at the SBA website.
