The Department of Transportation has awarded $540,000 to Millinocket for the final phase of a rehabilitation project at the Millinocket Municipal Airport.
U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud announced the award in a press release Tuesday, which stated that the money will fund the rehabilitation of existing apron pavement that has worn out.
The money comes to the airport through a Federal Aviation Administration grant.
