Biddeford will see a new discounter as Five Below plans to open at Biddeford Crossing.
The Philadelphia-based chain will occupy the former DressBarn space at 113 Shops Way, between Michael’s and Sun Tan City. The storefront has been empty since DressBarn closed in 2019.
An opening date for Five Below has not been announced.
Elsewhere in Biddeford, Five Below will join other discounters, including Marden’s, Dollar Tree and Family Dollar.
The planned store is the latest addition to Biddeford Crossing, where several businesses have recently opened or announced plans to open new franchises. White Door Home Store and Chick-fil-A are slated to open at the shopping center, while L.L. Bean recently opened an outlet store next to Market Basket.
The Biddeford Crossing shopping plaza is managed by DSM Realty, the real estate division of Market Basket.
