A franchise owner of the Five Guys Burgers and Fries national chain is planning to open its fifth location in Maine, this time in Waterville.
The Morning Sentinel confirmed with franchise owner Third Emp Holdings Inc. of Beverly, Mass., that a Five Guys will open in Waterville, although a site has not been locked down yet.
The newspaper said the confirmation of a new Five Guys location comes as several businesses are moving to or opening in downtown Waterville, including The Loyal Biscuit Co., a pet supply store; La Belle Bridal Boutique; and Rita’s Catering & Event Center.
