The construction company that Scarborough-based Landry/French Construction acquired in 2024 has changed its name to reflect new ownership.
M.H. Williams Construction Group, now Landry/French, will maintain its Melbourne office, local leadership and relationships with clients throughout Florida.
The transition is part of Landry/French’s growing presence in the sunshine state. The Maine construction company, founded by Kevin French and Denis Landry in 2010, opened an office this past winter in St. Petersburg, creating a platform to serve clients across both coasts.
“We’re bringing our organizations together under one name while continuing to provide our clients with the local experience and personal attention they value, backed by the broader resources of Landry/French,” said Kevin French, CEO of Landry/French Construction.
The Florida firm, established in 1987 by Mike Williams Sr., has been led by Mike Williams Jr.
“M.H. Williams has always been about its people, its clients, the community, and the relationships we’ve built over the years,” Williams said. “I’m proud of what the team has accomplished and excited about what’s ahead. The name may be changing, but our commitment to our clients and our community remains.”
Landry/French provides construction management, design-build and general contracting services across healthcare, education, life sciences, commercial, aviation, housing, industrial and research and development markets.
The company is Maine’s second largest construction firm, ranked by 2024 revenue in Mainebiz’s Book of Lists. Landry/French has more than 150 employees and approximately $350 million in annual construction volume, serving clients throughout the Northeast and Florida. The company is 100% employee-owned.
Landry/French was named to Engineering News-Record’s Top 400 Contractors list in 2026 and has been consistently recognized among the publication’s Top East Contractors.
