Former store manager charged with bilking employer

A former manager of an Ellsworth-based furniture store is facing his second charge this year for allegedly stealing money from his employer.

Brian Adaska, of Trenton, was issued a summons this month for allegedly misusing the Mill Mall Furniture store’s employee purchase plan to buy nearly $6,000 worth of furniture “without paying for it,” police told The Ellsworth American

He was previously charged in April for allegedly charging nearly the same amount to a store credit card. The store went out of business earlier this year, according to the newspaper.
