Good Shepherd Food Bank has set a bold goal: By 2025, all food insecure Mainers will have access to the nutritious food they need to thrive, when and where they need it. This means an additional 8.5 million meals are needed – beyond the 25 million provided by the food bank and its partners in FY19.

Volunteer Opportunities
Corporations, school groups, community organizations, and more are welcome to volunteer at the Food Bank distribution centers (Auburn and Hampden locations).
Volunteers do a variety of different projects based on the present need in the warehouses. Volunteering could include helping us pack supplemental nutrition program boxes or stuffing backpacks for our school programs.
Volunteer at one of our 500 partner agencies located throughout the state.
