The Greater Portland Board of Realtors has named Kris Dorer of Scarborough as the organization’s chief executive officer.

With over 30 years of experience in association and nonprofit management, Dorer will represent the board’s 1,800 members, who live and work in 15 communities throughout the region.
“It is my pleasure to join the strong history of service to our Realtor and affiliate members. The Greater Portland region continues to enjoy a vibrant climate for real estate, and our members provide the highest level of experience in our communities,” Dorer said in a news release.
The board is part of the National Association of Realtors, which represents over 1.5 million professionals throughout the United States.
