Giving opportunities

By fundraising for GPH, you’ll help advance our mission to provide high-quality, patient-centered healthcare that is accessible, affordable, and contributes to a healthier community. Please contact Madeleine McCormick at mmccormick@greaterportlandhealth.org to discuss giving and fundraising opportunities.

Healthy Community Fund: Due to rising healthcare costs, reductions in Medicaid coverage, and expiration of Affordable Care Act subsidies, thousands of our community members will soon lose their insurance coverage. Your donation to the Healthy Community Fund helps us continue to support and expand healthcare access.

Sunshine Fund: Greater Portland Health maintains the Sunshine Fund to meet critical patient needs that insurance does not cover. Donations will support patient access to prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as essential items, like warm clothing and healthy meals.

Annual Fund: Each year, GPH reaches out to members of our community through our annual appeal campaign. The contributions we receive are vital to sustaining our services and supporting patients when they need us most.

Maine Marathon Charity Bib Program: As a Maine Marathon beneficiary, GPH is turning race day into a shared giving opportunity. Community donations help expand our efforts to support healthier lives across the region. Please visit our beneficiary page to donate here: https://runsignup.com/Race/14517/Donate?charityId=6116

Volunteer opportunities

GPH welcomes volunteers to support administrative tasks, including assistance with patient referral processes and medical record keeping. Please contact our HR team at HRGroup@greaterportlandhealth.org to learn more.
