Downtown Bangor became a lot sweeter Thursday with the opening of Specialty Sweets’ newest retail location in a historic building at 31 Main St.
As reported by the Bangor Daily News in May, the four-story building at 31 Main St. has been undergoing renovations since its new owners, Telford Holdings, purchased the building from its previous owner, Paul Cook, for $300,000 in March.
In addition to the new retail location of Specialty Sweets, two 1,400-square-foot luxury apartments were added to the downtown building as part of the expansive renovations.
