The Scarborough-based Hannaford Supermarkets has named a new president.
Brad Wise, previously the senior vice president of human resources for Hannaford parent company Delhaize America, will take over as leader of the 181-store grocery chain, the Bangor Daily News reported.
Wise will also take over as president of Delhaize’s Florida-based chain, Sweetbay Supermarkets, as former Hannaford president Beth Campbell moves on to become president of Delhaize’s North Carolina Food Lion chain.
The paper reported the shakeup is a result of management decisions from Delhaize’s new CEO, Roland Smith, the former CEO of the Wendy’s fast food chain.
