Fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz AB, better known as H&M, moved its store Thursday to a new location at the Maine Mall in South Portland.
The Swedish retailer’s new location is directly across from its original location and its address is 364 Maine Mall Road in South Portland. It will have 20 employees.
It was founded in 1947 and has 474 stores in the United States and 4,000 worldwide.
Earlier this year, H&M was the highest-ranked fashion retailer on Forbes America’s “Best Employers” list.
