Idexx Laboratories has purchased a company in Oregon that provides veterinary telemedicine services, from MRI scans to ECG screens.
Westbrook-based Idexx bought VDIC, which will join Idexx’s telemedicine division, according to a press release from the company. The acquisition of VDIC will provide Idexx Telemedicine, which was established in 1995 with the acquisition of Cardiopet Inc., with the industry’s broadest menu of veterinary telemedicine services, the release states.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
