KidsPeace National Centers of New England Inc.

2020 Goals

1. Continue to serve the Maine communities by providing:

  • Developmental preschool and center-based programming age 3-5
  • School Based Day Treatment Services K-12
  • Residential treatment to children and adolescence with Autism and other mental health disabilities
  • Therapeutic Foster Care Families to children needing a home
  • Individual case management
  • Counseling (in home or in office)

2. To continue to strengthening our relationships within the community with our newly formed Maine Board of Associates.

3. Launching a capital campaign to secure the donations necessary to make needed improvements to our grounds and facilities.

4. Growing our Foster Care Community by recruiting more loving people to provide good Foster Homes.

Fundraising events/Opportunities

  • Graham Lake Playground Campaign Various events to raise funds for a new playground
  • Annual Holiday Gift Giving Campaign To support the purchase of holiday gifts for youth/families served by KidsPeace in Maine.
  • Annual KidsDay Celebration — Second Sunday in August To support the National KidsDay celebration on the Graham Lake Campus: fun and games for children in our care and their families.
  • Foster Parent Recognition — May Recognizing our foster parents with special events such during National Foster Parent month!

Giving Opportunities

1. The Maine Children’s Fund provides those items that are not considered “essentials” but are important to encouraging hope and healing for the children in our care. This fund covers school supplies, birthday gifts, Christmas and holiday gifts, special celebrations for success achieved, opportunities to receive special lessons like learning to play an instrument or playing on a sports team, attending a special camp or event, school supplies etc.

2. Graham Lake Playground Fund was established to provide the playground equipment appropriate for the children in our care on the Graham Lake Campus. We are half way there!
