Gov. Paul LePage and his wife Ann are selling the home in Boothbay that they purchased in a foreclosure auction for $215,000 in 2014.
The Associated Press reported that the three-bedroom house — which is located at 74 Firth Drive off Back Narrows Road with access to the Damariscotta River — is listed at $409,000. The listing in Zillow.com indicated that the property’s assessed value in 2016 was $453,300, resulting in property taxes of $3,989.
The average value of surrounding homes at the time the LePages purchased the home was reported to be about $700,000.
