2023 Goals
Our programs engage a variety of audiences to shift attitudes and actions and create a world in which all individuals, regardless of gender, are treated with respect and live free of fear and violence. Through our nationally unique Reducing Sexism & Violence Program (RSVP®), we will:
- Teach youth skills to effectively challenge unsafe attitudes and behaviors to limit the occurrence of harassment, dating violence and sexual assault in their schools, on athletic teams and in their wider communities.
- Provide youth with specific strategies for non-violent conflict de-escalation that they can apply to any situation.
- Empower youth to recognize and call out the cultural aspects of harmful masculinity that contribute to violence, self-harm and academic decline among boys.
- By engaging role models of youth, we will:
- Equip parents and youth-serving adults with tools and strategies to support their children, students, and each other in disrupting potentially harmful situations long before they become violent or do harm.
- Through our new Training Institute we will:
- Expand statewide by training a growing collective of youth-serving adults to deliver RSVP® to youth in their own communities. Through our Training Institute, we are working toward reaching tens of thousands of students annually.

Volunteer Opportunities
Over the next year, our Board of Directors will be cultivating and recruiting new candidates! We are looking for people with a strong connection to our mission who can help meet the diverse needs of our organization and reflect the diversity of stakeholders we serve throughout the state. We would also like to expand the diversity of backgrounds and experiences among those on our board. If you or someone you know may be interested in hearing more about this meaningful volunteer opportunity, please connect with us!
