The Maine Department of Labor has added two new tools to its JobLink website to assist job seekers looking to explore new opportunities.
“These new tools will help connect people’s skills, interests and aspirations with opportunities across Maine, making it simpler to explore careers, strengthen resumes and take the next step toward meaningful employment,” said Laura Fortman, commissioner of the Department of Labor.
The Career Explorer tool is an embedded interactive planning tool that helps users identify careers that align with their interests, skills, experience and education.
The second new feature on the department’s website is an AI resume evaluator tool which helps job seekers tailor their resumes to specific job openings by scoring alignment with selected postings, identifying gaps, highlighting relevant skills and keywords and providing actionable recommendations.
Both of the new tools can be accessed at joblink.maine.gov.
