Maine home sales and prices edged up in December

Maine buyers had more homes to choose from in December and prices continued to edge up, with the median sales price back at $400,000.

Across the state, 1,178 single-family homes sold last month, a 15.04% increase over December 2023. The median sales price reflected an increase of 14.12% increase from $350,500 a year earlier earlier, according to the Maine Association of Realtors.
