Maine State Chamber will offer grants for workforce reauthorization support

The Maine State Chamber of Commerce announced Monday it is offering grants to member employers supporting employees through federal work reauthorization processes.

Up to four employers will be selected to receive $10,000 each.

Grant funds may be used for legal or compliance support, employee communication, assistance with application fees, improvements to HR tracking, or other workforce support strategies.

Proposals should be two to three pages, outlining the approach and expected impact.

Key dates:

  • Request for proposals issue date: Feb. 23
  • Proposal deadline: March 23.
  • Award notification: April 3.

All proposals can be submitted through the Maine State Chamber of Commerce website.
