At an awards banquet held last weekend, Mainebiz received an award for General Excellence in the biweekly category from the New England Press Association.
Two other Maine papers also received the award for General Excellence in their respective categories: The Ellsworth American from Ellsworth, and the York County Coastal Star from Kennebunk. The Ellsworth American also received the George A. Speers Newspaper of the Year award for its category.
