Chuck Hays is the new president and CEO of MaineGeneral Medical Center, which operates facilities in Augusta and Waterville. Hays formerly was COO of MaineGeneral Medical Center, which is run by Augusta-based parent company MaineGeneral Health. He was instrumental in leading the construction of MaineGeneral’s recently completed Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care, according to a company press release detailing the promotion.
