Martin’s Point Health Care is opening its new $5 million facility in Gorham next week.
The American Journal reported that the new Martin’s Point facility opens at 575 Main St. on Monday, Sept. 22. The new facility, which was a focus of a recent Mainebiz feature, utilizes the patient-centered model of care, a growing trend in Maine.
Martin’s Point decided to build a new 42,000-square-foot facility instead of renovating an existing property because it wanted to create a truly patient-centered medical office, Dick Daigle, vice president of support services at Martin’s Point, previously told Mainebiz.
