Medical rounds: Maine’s health-related stories from 2024

The past year saw a mix of news on the health-related front.

There was new construction and the addition of services, along with consolidations and the elimination of services. Artificial intelligence and biotechnology are increasingly in the news.

Like many industries, workforce was a pressing issue, but there were also a variety of new training programs. Maine’s medical air transport service flew into the spotlight a couple of times.
