A virtual reception Thursday offers a chance to honor — and network with — the Mainebiz Business Leaders of the Year.
The free event, from noon to 1:30 p.m., will recognize the seven 2021 Business Leaders, who come from both the commercial and nonprofit sectors. All seven have helped shape the state’s economic vitality over the past 12 months, and undoubtedly will continue to in the challenging months to come.
The Business Leaders are:
- Large Company Business Leader: Scott Wellman, general manager, Puritan Medical Products Co.
- Mid-Sized Company Business Leader: Denis Landry, president, Landry/French Construction
- Mid-Sized Company Business Leader: Kevin French, CEO, Landry/French Construction
- Entrepreneur Business Leader: Karen Getz, vice president of product development, Maine Crisp Co.
- Entrepreneur Business Leader: Steve Getz, vice president of marketing, Maine Crisp Co.
- Entrepreneur Business Leader: Michael Ross, CEO, Maine Crisp Co.
- Nonprofit Leader: Edison Liu, president and CEO, The Jackson Laboratory.
This event includes a real-time virtual networking session via the user-friendly Remo platform.
