‘MEREDA Matters’ podcast features developer with deep experience

The latest “MEREDA Matters” podcast shares a conversation with Jim Howard, president and CEO of Priority Real Estate Group.

Howard invested $90 million in the 15-year redevelopment of Brunswick Landing. The project helped create 825 jobs and made Priority Real Estate Group the largest private property owner on the former Naval Air Station.

Earlier in his career, Howard ran Home Vision Video in the 1990s and, with John Koch, built 31 Rusty Lantern Markets.

Howard shares insights from his 28-year-career in real estate with podcast hosts Justin Laverriere and Andrew Silsby, president and CEO of Kennebec Savings Bank.

Howard also discusses why he stopped putting projects out to bid a decade ago, and what kind of long-game discipline keeps the same contractors and bankers working with him for decades.
