The Maine International Trade Center announced yesterday that it has planned a trade mission to the Middle East for Feb. 20-27.
The mission to Dubai and the United Arab Emirates involves the MITC displaying Maine food, beverage and seafood companies at the largest food show in the Middle East, and will provide up to five Maine companies with the opportunity to find buyers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, according to a press release from the organization.
Janine Bisaillon-Cary, trade center president, would not reveal the names of the companies going on the mission, according to the Portland Press Herald, because the organization is still seeking participants.
